At the Dec. 6 Puyallup School Board meeting, Superintendent John Polm administered the Oath of Office to newly-elected David Berg. He was appointed in November to fill the seat vacated by Kathy Yang.
The meeting also included a School Board Reorganization that occurs every year in December in which the Board elects officers for the coming year.
By unanimous vote, the board elected Joseph Romero board president, Maddie Names vice president, David Berg legislative representative, Michael Keaton legislative representative, and Turan Kayaoglu WIAA representative.
