All school districts in Washington State are required to create an Academic and Student Well-being Recovery Plan that represents our best efforts to identify and respond to impacts on student learning caused by the pandemic.

This plan:

     • Identifies students in need of academic and well-being support
     • Defines how supports will be provided through identifiable resources, and
     • Plans for recovery and acceleration of student learning over the next three years.  

Key Dates:

Sept. 7, 2021:  Board approves the process and selection of 20 individuals chosen to serve on the Committee Aligned for Reimagining Excellence (CARE) for the 2021-22 school year.
Aug. 2-13, 2021: Citizens Advisory Committee application period
Aug. 2, 2021: Board approves partnership with Hazel Health to provide tele-therapy counseling for students
July 1, 2021: Board approves Citizens Advisory Committee to oversee Panorama Education implementation
April 5, 2021: Board approves Panorama Education surveys to identify the needs of all stakeholders
