Join with us as we celebrate nearly 1,500 teachers throughout the Puyallup School District in recognition of Teacher Appreciation Week May 3-7.
In their mission to educate the children of our community, teachers serve in partnership with parents to ensure the education of all children. While adapting to distance learning and the transition back to in-person learning, teachers have faced many of the pandemic challenges alongside our students and families.
They inspire students to think strategically and to integrate experience and knowledge to form reasoned judgements; and help students understand the importance of work and their contribution to society. While making it a priority to get to know every student, teachers create a warm and welcoming environment, and consistently show they care. We acknowledge all of you for your enthusiasm and commitment to our students.
We appreciate our teachers—they are making a huge impact on the children in this community.
