PAGE Highly Capable Program: 2nd Notification Period

Families of high performing students in grades 6 and 7 will be invited to test for highly capable services to begin in the fall. Highly capable services are available for students who meet high-performance indicators. This is a second opportunity to test for highly capable services that would go into effect next school year due to secondary course updates.

The PAGE Program is offered at Ferrucci, Kalles, and Stahl Junior High Schools for highly capable junior high students who have tested and/or been recommended by the district's Multidisciplinary Selection Committee. The program includes courses with a high level of rigor, depth, breadth, and acceleration within a cohort setting.

Parents of eligible students currently in grades 6 and 7 will be notified by March 1. Students who score at or above 80 percentile on STAR assessments will be invited to take the Cognitive Abilities Test (CogAT) March 24-April 2.
