Nationally, February is the time of year Career and Technical Education is highlighted in schools supporting college and career readiness for students through real world, real life skills.  Through hands-on experience, certification, or apprenticeship opportunities, CTE courses prepare students for the next step after graduation.

 As a part of Career and Technical Education month, a CTE teacher of the year is recognized based on nominations from the CTE department members and secondary building administrators.  Congratulations Puyallup School District CTE Teacher of the Year, Dr. Cassie Mueller, for her ongoing efforts to provide exceptional support for students, colleagues, and the community. 

 She will be honored at the Puyallup School Board meeting on Feb. 16.
