New Website Unveiled
New Website Unveiled

tabsThe district’s website is the centerpiece of an important communications network containing current and relevant information available to stakeholders 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Knowing this, we have made the move to a new website called Presence. We hope users will appreciate the new and improved format.

After many weeks of migrating content from the old website platform we are “going live” on August 5!
Over the past several months staff from the Technology Services Department have been working with staff from the Communications and Information Department to reconsider the elements needed for an effective website. The new website will serve all schools, programs, and departments of the district, and will continue to serve as the primary source of current and relevant news and information about the Puyallup School District.

Teachers will no longer have pages on the new website. Beginning this fall teachers and parents will use the new Learning Management System called Schoology.
We believe the new website is easier to use and better represents the quality of Puyallup schools and teachers. We also think the new format will better highlight the students and programs making an impact on our community, and will showcase the kind of student and staff success which represents the Tradition of Excellence we have come to expect.

As one could imagine, the migration of content is an enormous task and will result in some website pages looking a little less than perfect. Please excuse the mess as we work hard to put it all back together again.

In an ever expanding world of digital communications it is critically important the district has a reliable and effective website for all stakeholders. We hope you find the new website helpful!
