Meet MILLIE
Meet MILLIE logoMillie - Puyallup School District's
STEAM Mobile Innovation Lab

Millie is brought to you by the Puyallup School District’s Career and Technical Education Department. It is run by two Teachers on Special Assignment (TOSAs), Katie Ventura and Melissa Ashton, and a Lab Tech, Tyler Benning.

Millie is designed to provide all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students an opportunity to experience hands-on STEAM activities. These will allow the students to explore different CTE pathways that they can take once they reach high school! There will also be community experiences at football games and community events.

For the 2020-2021 school year, Millie will pilot at Woodland Elementary School for 6th grade, and Edgemont Junior High School for 7th and 8th grade. Starting March 2nd, 2021, the Millie Team will be at Woodland Elementary, and then move on to Edgemont Junior High School at the end of March and work with those students through June.
