The Culinary Arts program offers exciting careers and unlimited opportunities. Using state of the art commercial kitchen equipment and running the Puyallup High School Brickhouse Bistro, students learn culinary theory and skills which will prepare them for entry level employment in the Culinary and Hospitality industry. Our program offers training in areas such as: food safety, workplace safety, kitchen basics, commercial equipment and use of tools, food cost, standardized recipe development, restaurant management, and food service. Students are prepared to take industry standard certification exams for Food workers card and SP2 Food Safety and Workplace Safety. Our program works closely with local employers and many of our graduates are currently working in the industry.

Culinary Arts II is a year-long two periods course for 11th and 12th grade students. The course is designed for the student who is interested in a career in Culinary and Hospitality.

Culinary III is a year-long two periods course for 12th grade students who have successfully completed Culinary I and Culinary II. The course is designed for the student who is interested in an advanced career in Culinary and Hospitality.
