Seeking Advisory Committee Members: Aug. 13 Deadline

As we celebrate returning to school, exciting work is happening in Puyallup Schools.
Over the last year, we’ve heard from thousands of our students and staff members about the skills and supports they need to be successful. Through interviews, live discussions, and surveys, we learned that in addition to preparing students for academic success, we need to help them develop skills for handling life’s challenges.
This year you’ll hear more about the ways we plan to support student success. Reimagining our ‘tradition of excellence’ is not just about academics, but also social and emotional wellness and recovery for students. This will be our primary focus over the next three years.
Join with us in this work. This year, as we continue to listen and seek feedback from all stakeholders, you have an opportunity to provide guidance as we make meaningful changes in our organization. The Committee Aligned for Reimagining Excellence (CARE) will review:
• Social-Emotional Learning and Well-Being
• School Climate, Culture, and Engagement
• Equity and Inclusion
