Good news for Monday Meal Packs! The free 5-day Meal Packs have been extended through June 1. The breakfast and lunch meals continue to be available to all children 18 years old or younger and can be picked up at any Puyallup school on Mondays between 11 a.m. – noon.
There are changes coming to the contents of the meal packs to offer a variety of menu items to meet different learning environments. Entrees can be heated in the microwave while students are learning from home, and there are lunch bags with sandwiches for when in-person learning resumes. Due to COVID-19, students will eat in the classroom and will not have access to hot meals or a microwave.
Parents and students can choose which options they prefer during pick-up. All meals in the 5-day packs meet USDA standards. The menu items include milk, fruit, and vegetable options.

While all students may be provided free meals through the end of June, families are strongly encouraged to complete a School Meal Application now, which determines a student’s eligibility for free and reduced-price meals. The application is simple and confidential. There are no citizenship requirements for participation, and immigration status is not requested or disclosed.
