ImageThe Kite Classroom Players, made up of students in the Sunrise Elementary Kids in Therapeutic Education (KITE) class, performed a play on June 11 and 12 for the school, family members, and friends.

KITE students and their teachers designed a series of sets and costumes and memorized lines for "Petey and Pauly the Pint-Sized Pirates," by D.M. Larson and adapted by KITE teacher and play director Kobi Wilson.

Students acted out more than a dozen characters during the school assembly including Petey, Pauly, Sam the Seaworthy, Billy the Buccaneer, Captain Sludge, and Bob the Brave.
