Seventh through twelfth graders will check out a Windows 10 computer to use for school. The computer is a Lenovo Yoga 11e with an 11.6 in touch screen display. It has both front-facing and world-facing cameras, a stylus for digital inking, and a built-in microphone. While you should save all your documents to your district provided OneDrive, the Lenova has a 256GB hard drive and 8GB total memory. It is Bluetooth enabled, too. Ninth graders will have the Generation 4 model in 2019/2020, but all other grades will have Generation 5. The primary difference between them is the Gen 5 has a garaged, rechargeable stylus. You will use the same computer each year for 7th, 8th and 9th grades, and then get a new computer for 10th, 11th and 12th grades.
