Families had the opportunity for their children to get blood pressure screenings provided by Puyallup School District nurses and health assistants, vision screenings by School Health, and Type II Diabetes risk factor screenings provided by the University of Mary.

Students also had the option to receive a low-cost baseline concussion screening provided by ATI Physical Therapy as well as immunizations provided by the Mary Bridge Mobile Immunization Clinic.

Several workshops were also provided such as a dental health workshop put on by Smiles Saved, a nutrition workshop put on by Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department, and a first aid workshop put on by Puyallup School District nurses and health assistants.

In addition, families had the chance to experience martial arts demonstrations by Champions Martial Arts, fire department demonstrations by Central Pierce Fire and Rescue, and CrossFit demonstrations by Doxsa.

Families had the opportunity to view the plans for the new Firgrove Elementary Design which was on display throughout the evening.

Students also got the chance to blend their own smoothie on the Molina Healthcare Smoothie Bike. The blender is powered by pedaling the stationary bicycle, which through gears and chains turns the blender motor. Families got to enjoy samples of the delicious smoothies while interacting with the nurses, health assistants, and various organizations which partnered with the Puyallup School District for the health fair.
