District retests for water quality
Posted on 04/28/2016

In light of recent public concerns about lead in drinking water across the state and nation, the Puyallup School District has contracted Bob Simons with Environmental Specialites to retest the water in our schools beginning Monday, May 2, 2016.  Testing of the entire school district will take approximately five weeks.

The Puyallup School District works with eight water purveyors who regularly test for water quality according to the standards set by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and Department of Health (DOH).

In the past, the district has tested all facilities for lead and copper and has addressed and remediated all concerns to comply with EPA and DOH standards.
