Education Day at the Fair
The Puyallup School District Education Day at the Fair will be held on September 16, 2015. The following information may be helpful to those participating in a booth or stage performance in the Pavilion.
 
Opening ceremonies will begin at 10:10 a.m. this year, featuring the Rogers ROTC and the Puyallup High School Orchestra. If you are participating in a booth please have your booth ready and staffed by 10:00 a.m.
 
If you have not requested your Participant ticket(s), please contact Nancy French so they can be couriered to you. These tickets can also be used for free parking in either the Silver or Bronze parking lots at the fair.  Just show your ticket when you enter the parking lot, but don’t let them take it, you will need to show it to get into the Fair.
 
We still have PSD logo t-shirts available for those participating at the Fair on Sept. 16.  Either stop by ESC, or send an email with size request.
 
Booth layout:
Unless you have a special request, your 10X10 ft. booth will contain two tables and four chairs. 
There are some bulletin boards available at the fair (a limited number). 
There will be internet available.
 
Transporting items to/from the Fair
The Logistics Support Center is planning to make a delivery to the Pavilion building at the fair on the morning of Sept. 16.  If you want them to deliver items for you, please contact Darrell Brown at the warehouse (NO LATER THAN Sept. 11) at browndl@puyallup.k12.wa.us or (841-8701) to schedule a pickup from your location. Please plan this in advance!
 
If you would prefer to deliver your items yourself in the morning on September 16, you may drive through the service gate off 15th street between 7:00 am — 8:30 am on Wednesday, Sept. 16 and unload them at the Pavilion. Your vehicle must be out of the fairgrounds by 8:30 a.m.
 
If you are working in a booth during the afternoon shift, you may still bring your items in the morning (or arrange delivery) and we’ll find a place to store them until your shift begins.  Please make sure they are clearly marked with location AND your name.
 
If you need to leave heavy items at the end of the day, the Logistics Support team will be making a pick-up at the Pavilion building on September 17, at 7:00 a.m.  We will have a designated place to store the items overnight.  It will be your responsibility to make sure your items are properly boxed, marked, and stored with your name and where you want them delivered to.
 
Please do not leave any expensive equipment, musical instruments or computers at the Fairgrounds at the end of the day, unless you have made special arrangements in advance to do this.
