The Puyallup High School campus was briefly in lockdown this afternoon, as was the Meeker Elementary School campus.  In addition, Maplewood Elementary School was placed in a modified lockdown, which means that exterior doors were locked while movement continued indoors.

Police activity in the area was the reason for this precaution being taken.
