Information about Puyallup School District's practice of posting fliers for nonprofit organizations

In accordance with Board Policy 4230 schools may post information about programs and activities offered by nonprofit organizations that have been approved by the district as having educational, social, or recreational value to the students. The Puyallup School District does not accept requests for distribution of fliers via students, with the exception of in the Partnership Packets. However, approved fliers may still be posted on school office community bulletin boards and on the district Web site.

In consideration for the privilege to post these fliers, the Puyallup School District shall be held harmless from any cause of action, claim, or petition filed in any court arising out of the distribution of these materials.



For Parents and Students

If you have come to rely on receiving notices from specific organizations, please contact that organization and request to be added to their mailing list.


For Community Organizations

If your nonprofit organization has a flier regarding programs and activities for students, complete the Request for Posting form. This form may also be requested by calling the district receptionist at (253) 841-1301.


Submit your flier in its final form along with the Request for Posting form to the district receptionist. You may either email PDF versions of the flier and form to, fax them to 253-435-6777, or mail or drop them off at the Puyallup School District Education Service Center, 302 2nd Street SE, Puyallup, WA 98372. The flier must clearly state that: 'This activity is not sponsored by the Puyallup School District.' Please allow one week for review of requests. Your group will then be notified of approval status.


Your approved flier may be posted on the community bulletin board in school offices. You may also request that a PDF version of your approved flier also be posted here on the district website. Send a PDF of your approved flier to


Fliers will be posted within one week of receipt of the approved PDF. Fliers will remain posted on the website until the date of your event or deadline, or for 30 days, whichever comes first.
