Chief Financial Officer Corine Pennington unveiled Superintendent Tim Yeomans' recommended 2013-14 Puyallup School District budget during a public hearing before the start of the regular board meeting.

A second hearing on the budget is scheduled at 6 p.m. August 19. The public is invited to comment on the proposed budget during the hearing, which will be immediately followed by the regular school board meeting. Board action on the recommended budget is expected during the regular meeting.

The Puyallup School Board meets at Ballou Junior High School, 9916 136th St. E., Puyallup.
