11-29-11: Puyallup School Board election results final

Chris Ihrig, Pat Jenkins, and Dane Looker are the winners of this year’s Puyallup School Board election, according to certified results of the November 8 General Election.

The Pierce County Auditor’s Office certified the results on November 29.

Incumbent Chris Ihrig received 13,589 votes (51.19%) compared to challenger Kathy (Rebar) Uphaus’s 12,956 votes (48.81%).

Jenkins received 13,930 votes (52.44%) compared to challenger Klaus Snyder’s 12,633 votes (47.56%). Jenkins replaces Diana Seeley, who decided not to seek re-election.

Dane Looker received 16,154 votes (56.2%) compared to challenger Therese Ngo Pasquier’s 12,592 votes (43.8%). He replaces Cindy Poysnick, who decided not to seek re-election.

All three elected directors will take their oath of office at the December 12 school board meeting. The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Ballou Junior High School, 9916 136th St. E. in Puyallup.
