Student musicians from Kalles Junior High and Emerald Ridge,
Puyallup, and Rogers high schools performed during the annual Western
Rodeo Parade and Cattle Drive to kick off the start of the Washington
State Fair on Friday, September 6.
Community members lined along the sidewalks clapped and cheered as the students marched in a light rain down Meridian Street.
The parade also featured equestrian drill teams, draft horse hitches,
military marching bands, and 2013 Daffodil Queen Kenna Erhardt, who
graduated in June from Rogers High School.
