Stage events began with an opening ceremony featuring the presentation of colors by Rogers High School JROTC members Cole Felice, Brady Balas, JoonYong Lee, and Justin Agulay.

The ceremony was immediately followed with the first stage performance of the day by the Puyallup High School Orchestra, led by Director Todd Giltner.

The stage was filled throughout the day by elementary, junior high, and high school vocal, band, orchestra, and drum groups. Members of the Emerald Ridge, Puyallup, and Rogers high school cheer and dance groups also performed.

In addition to the stage performances, more than 20 booths in the Pavilion building featured educational displays from around the district.

Information and demonstrations highlighted student learning taking place in various Career and Technical Education high school magnet programs such as Aquaculture, Culinary Arts, Automotive, Medical Careers Academy, Programming for Game Design, and Architecture, Construction, and Engineering (ACE) Academy.

Students and staff members in other booths also shared information about equity and achievement; assessment, accountability, and student success; nutrition services; visual arts; communications; transportation; and Communities In Schools of Puyallup. View slideshow.
