More than 350 science projects are registered for this year's Fair display.

Honoring Cultures Diversity Celebration

Art, essays, poetry, stage performances, and other culturally-relevant student learning projects will be featured April 19-22 during the ninth annual Honoring Cultures Diversity Celebration.

The event, sponsored by the school district’s Office of Diversity Affairs, is held during all four days of the Puyallup Spring Fair with a full day of stage performances, read-alouds, and other student participation between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Saturday, April 21.

The diversity celebration is held in the South Foyer and Pioneer Room inside the Americraft ShowPlex building. On April 21, district and community group and individual performances are featured on the Coca-Cola Stage adjacent to the indoor displays.

The mission of the Honoring Cultures Diversity Celebration is to promote student achievement by “continuing to build a culturally responsive learning community through creative educational initiatives that enhance and showcase the cultural competence of all staff, students, and the community-at-large.”
