New elementary attendance waivers for the 2023-24 school year will not be accepted at the following schools until further notice due to enrollment projections and staffing considerations. The following elementary schools will not accept new students who live outside of the school-specific attendance boundaries:
- Dessie Evans Elementary
- Edgerton Elementary
- Northwood Elementary
- Pope Elementary
Our ability to accept intra-district transfers and non-resident waiver applications is contingent upon enrollment projections and a focus on classroom sizes. Listed below are schools whose enrollment is closed to waivers at certain grade levels for the upcoming school year.
- Brouillet Elementary: Grade 5
- Firgrove Elementary: Grades 4 and 5
- Fruitland Elementary: Grade 6
- Maplewood Elementary: Grades 4 and 5
- Meeker Elementary: Grade 6
- Mt. View Elementary: Grade 4
- Ridgecrest Elementary: Grade 5
- Shaw Road Elementary: Grade 4
- Spinning Elementary: Grade 6
- Stewart Elementary: Grades 5 and 6
- Sunrise Elementary: Grades 4 and 5
- Waller Road Elementary: Grades 5 and 6
- Wildwood Elementary: Grade 5
- Zeiger Elementary: Grade 4 and 6
Waitlist Process: Families with new students who live outside of school-specific attendance boundaries can email applications to [email protected]. Families will be notified if they qualify to be placed on a waitlist.
Families with students on existing attendance waivers are not affected.
