October in Washington state is Disability History and Awareness Month, bringing a greater sense of pride to humans with disabilities and increasing awareness and acceptance. 

Throughout this month, PSD acknowledges students and staff with disabilities who thrive in and out of the classroom, display leadership throughout the district, and make our communities stronger.
