EVERFI, an educational company that helps bring real-world digital learning to K-12 school districts, acknowledged Puyallup School District (PSD) for exceptional classroom use of its platforms.
The organization awarded PSD with the 2022 EVERFI Empowered Seal. According to the website, it recognizes K-12 school districts and individual schools that demonstrate an exemplary commitment to whole-child education through EVERFI’s comprehensive, evidence-informed digital programs.
PSD was one of 17 Washington state school districts who earned the recognition. Currently, the district uses EVERFI Platforms for high school family health and financial literacy classes.

ERHS Financial Literacy Teacher Lynn Goralski
Emerald Ridge High School (ERHS) Financial Literacy Teacher Lynn Goralski says the EVERFI Programs she uses in her classroom brings an interactive nature that caters to high school students.
"Students are able to explore digitally," Goralski said. "EVERFI enhances my classes through a web-based interactive set of modules that focus on various topics that we will all have to deal with in our financial lives. Also, it provides programs to enhance social-emotional learning, career and college readiness, as well as many other educational disciplines."
