
On Wednesday, Sept. 14, Puyallup School District will hold its annual fair day, an early release day allowing students and staff to attend the Washington State Fair with their families.
Below is information to prepare you for the big day.
3.25-HR Early Dismissal
All PSD Schools will release students 3 hours and 15 minutes earlier than their normal end times (e.g., schools that end at 3:21 p.m. on non-early release days will dismiss at 12:06 p.m.).
Also, students who ride the bus will arrive to their destination 3 hours and 15 minutes early. Buses will operate on an modified activity bus run schedule, and there will be no bus transportation for preschool.

PSD Fair Day Booths
The district will have several booths in the fairground's expo hall:
- The district's main booth gives attendees an opportunity to learn more about PSD and the Nov. 6, 2022 Capital Levy.
- Puyallup High and Rogers High School Robotics Students will present their competition robots, demonstrating its manufacturing equipment and allowing kids and other attendees to try out the robots for themselves.
- Millie, PSD's Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math (STEAM) Mobile Innovation Lab, allows students to explore different CTE career pathways that they can take once they reach high school! Learn more about Millie on the PSD Website and on the PSD YouTube Channel.
- The PSD Arts Department will present paintings, drawings and photography from the winners of the 2022 Vesey/Munson Art Show, an annual event exhibiting best visual arts created by students across the district. Attendees will also have the opportunity to view past performances from PSD bands and choir groups. Also, the Karshner Museum will present photos of past events and information on future events in the upcoming months.

PSD encourages families attending fair day to use the hashtag #PSDFairDay2022 when posting family photos on social media. When families use the hashtag, PSD will retweet, share and interact with them through their pictures on the district's social media accounts!
