School board to honor retiring district employees on June 15

The Puyallup School Board will honor this year’s retiring district employees at its next regular meeting on Monday, June 15.

 

The meeting begins at 6 p.m. at Glacier View Junior High, 12807 184th St. E., Puyallup. The school entrance is located just north of the Emerald Ridge High School entrance.

 

There are more than 60 district employees who have announced their retirement this year. School principals and other district leadership will outline each retiree’s years of service and ask family members and friends to stand during the recognitions. A reception will follow the board recognition.

 

Retirees will receive a certificate, a flower, and a booklet listing their accomplishments. The booklet will be posted on the district website after the June 15 meeting.
