Each spring many schools throughout the district host art shows,
sometimes referred to as art walks, to share student artwork with the
school and community.
In late May, Ferrucci Junior High hosted its eighth annual art show, titled “THE EARTH WITHOUT ART IS JUST EH.”
More than 100 pieces of student work, including paintings, drawings,
and ceramics, were displayed under spotlights on the stage in the school
Commons.
The show opened with a reception open to the community on Friday, May
22 and remained open the next two days for Ferrucci Junior High class
visits, as well as drop-ins by community members.
