SuperintendentTo Our Community Members,

In the past few weeks we have had the opportunity to honor a number of very important groups in our district. This week we recognize our Administrative Professionals and our Volunteers, and in the very near future our Certificated Instructional Staff.

On behalf of the Board of Directors, and on a very personal note, I would like to take this opportunity to express how much the work of all of our staff members is appreciated. This past weekend at the Honoring Cultures Diversity Celebration and the STEM Showcase at the Spring Fair, we received dozens of positive comments about the work of the staff and the district on behalf of children. On each occasion it was such a pleasure to point out to members of our community that our staff does a superior job of serving our students and community in every way.

As the saying goes, "it takes a village..."  In Puyallup we are exceptionally fortunate to have a team of people, in every role imaginable, who deeply value the opportunity to serve children and prepare them for their future.

Thank you to all staff members for your service. Thank you to part-time and substitute staff who make such valuable contributions every day. Thank you, as well, to the thousands of volunteers who support the learning and growth of all students in the Puyallup School District.

Puyallup is a great place to be! Thanks to everyone who works so diligently to make a difference each day for "each child."

Have a great week!
