Schedules

The District’s 2020–21 student calendar and bell schedule reflects 180 school days and required instructional hours. The Continuous Learning 2.0 and Hybrid A/B models include a 6.0-hour instructional day for students that includes both synchronous and asynchronous instruction. Options are being reviewed that provide students with evening  support if needed.

Students will attend live whole group and small group sessions Tuesday - Friday. These sessions will adhere to a predictable and consistent weekly schedule. Students will also participate in daily class meetings and weekly specialist classes. In between sessions, they will work on self-guided learning tasks as outlined in their Weekly Learning Plans.

Mondays for Elementary:  Students will attend a live class meeting. They may also have a check-in with their interventionists (LAP, Title I, EL, Special Services). After, they will participate in self-guided learning tasks from their Learning Plan that reinforce the skills taught Tuesday - Friday.

Mondays for Secondary:  Mondays will form the foundation of social emotional well-being for the week with community building being critical for student success. Students will additionally engage in classroom culture and student wellness activities throughout the rest of week within their 6 classes. The remaining time on Monday, students will continue their self-guided learning as it pertains to all six classes – except for specialty courses which may need to teach live on these days.
