Flags
throughout the district are flying at half-staff on Monday, January 13
in memory of USMC Sgt. Jacob M. Hess. Hess died January 1 in
Afghanistan of injuries sustained while supporting combat operations.
The
Governor has requested that flags at all state agency facilities be
lowered when a Washingtonian in the military is killed in the line of
duty. Flags should remain at half-staff until close of business on
January 13.
